Highly cost-effective & powerful USB 2.0 Imaging EMCCD camera, making Andor's EMCCD technology available to every laboratory.
With years of academic and industrial experience, Andor's OEM experts specialize in the creation of complete system solutions, from tailored collection optics and spectrographs to software that gives you the levels of control and functionality you require - whether you are creating a brand new analytical device, or incorporating new functionality into an existing configuration.
Andor has, over the last 5 years, sold cameras and detectors into 9 of the top 20 global industry leaders in the areas of Spectroscopic instruments, Life Sciences, Surface Science Instruments and X-Ray, with our products forming an integral part of our industrial partners' instrumentation.
In November 2004, Andor relocated to its present day premises, a purpose-built 50,000 ft² factory in Belfast, Northern Ireland. This facility includes optical, electronic and mechanical workshops, class 10,000 and class 1,000 clean rooms, vacuum and electronic processing facilities.
Andor's superior vacuum process UltraVac™ ensures that our cameras have no vacuum failures, no leaks, no maintenance and no re-pumping. The UltraVac™ process takes place within the class 10,000 clean room, ensuring that there are fewer than 10,000 particles of less than 0.5μm dimension for every cubic meter. The air is fully replenished every minute and the temperature and humidity are controlled. All personnel must wear body suits, overshoes and a hat, with the clothing having been woven with carbon fiber to minimize static discharge.
Andor runs many quality improvement programmes, including some that are focused on its manufacturing process and yield improvement. Operating a quality management system since 1998, the company fully complies with the requirements of BS EN ISO9001:2000.
Here at Andor we have many years of experience producing tailored solutions for our customers. Understanding what our customers require, coupled with a deep knowledge of high-end scientific applications, allows us to produce custom solutions, thus allowing each one of our customers to discover new ways of seeing™. Our cameras and spectrographs have been used in space, under oceans and in many other extreme temperature and pressure conditions.
With a highly experienced team of engineers and application specialists, Andor will quickly assess your needs as a customer, regardless of how specific or unusual they may be, enabling us to respond with the appropriate solution every time.
