Motorized Controls

Using closed-loop XY stages our systems achieve positioning repeatability of about 0.3 μm (rms) - state of the art for stages with a range of ≈100 mm. These stages enable scanning in various modes including micro-plates (for multitreatment experiments), multi-field e.g. to increase the number of observations in a single preparation or in montage mode for larger specimens e.g. embryos.

Multi-field, micro-plate & montage scanning

Using closed-loop XY stages our systems achieve positioning repeatability of about 0.3 μm (rms) - state of the art for stages with a range of ≈100 mm. These stages enable scanning in various modes including micro-plates (for multitreatment experiments), multi-field e.g. to increase the number of observations in a single preparation or in montage mode for larger specimens e.g. embryos. Piezo Z stages and objective movers are the choice for fast Z scanning, while Piezo XY stages can be provided for sub-nm precision with travel up to 1 mm.
