Andor Technology PLC (Andor) is based in Belfast, Northern Ireland and operates at the high-value end of the global scientific digital camera market. It was setup in 1989 out of Queen's University in Belfast. Andor now employs 190 people in 15 offices worldwide and distributes its products to 10,000 customers in 55 countries.

Andor develops and manufactures a range of high performance digital cameras and their associated products used for the measurement of light. Today, Andor has a portfolio of over 70 products which are employed in fields as diverse as drug discovery, toxicology analysis, medical diagnosis, food quality testing and defence. Thanks to new techniques developed by Andor scientists, Andor cameras can measure light down to just one photon and can also measure light occurring in very short time resolutions - within 1 billionth of a second.

Andor Technology PLC was admitted to AIM on Friday 3rd December 2004 (the London Stock Exchange's Alternative Investment Market a global market for smaller, growing companies) and has commenced dealings in its Ordinary Shares.
