iKon-L HF

The outstanding design brings together the camera’s key elements in a single optimized unit: the highest QE (95%) Back-illuminated sensor, a single directly bonded FOP and a unique spring-loading “Soft Dock” mount. This design delivers the highest optical performance high transmission, spatial resolution performance along with the ultra-low noise of the outstanding iKon-L platform.

This is the camera of choice for indirect high energy applications, energies from soft to hard X-ray were high spatial resolution imaging of low flux signal is required. We offer three variants to cover the most common requirements all of which can be further modified or changed to suit evolving need. The unique feature “Soft Dock” spring-loaded fibre optic allows quick and safe mounting of the camera to a wide variety of fragile instrumentation, streak cameras, image intensifiers as well as easy placement of a full range of “off the shelf” scintillators.

The 2048X2048 imaging array, 1:1 ratio single fibre optic direct bonded sensor with quad speed, 0.005,1,3,5 MHz, delivers the best performance on the market. The iKon-L HF 936 TE cooler, enables stabilized cooling of this large area sensor without the aggravation of liquid nitrogen or compressed gas cooling, perfect for the longest of exposure times. USB 2.0 connectivity, “Soft Dock” feature and multiple mounting points enable seamless integration and ease of operation. Fully integrated and supported in a range of third party software, using Andor’s SDK software product, such as MATLab LABView and EPICs or can be operated with Andor own standalone software interface SOLIS.
