Adding spectral analysis (structural, chemical) to microscopy imaging of bio-samples, for example living cells, proteins or materials such as polymers or semi-conductors, is an ever increasing demand amongst the Research community.

The Andor Shamrock spectrograph wide-aperture slit accessory opens the door to a flexible and modular approach to Microspectroscopy. Only one spectroscopy setup with a single camera is required to image the sample whilst allowing spectral information collection through the same optical path from the microscope.
